Description

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) will gain knowledge to recognize challenges in using academic vocabulary frequently experienced by English learners (ELs). SLPs will learn information about descriptors used to situate ELs as they move across English language proficiency. SLPs will be able to identify key features of the Vocabulary Scenario Technique (VST) and its adaptation for use with ELs.
