In this systematic review, the authors aim to identify the effect of guar fiber supplementation compared with other nutritional interventions on gastrointestinal symptoms with individuals diagnosed with IBS, FC, and FD. The main finding from this study was that guar fiber may be effective in improving the management of IBS symptoms.
