The national study for case manager certification identified the essential activities and knowledge areas of case management practice. The results have authenticated the evolution of case manager practice over the past 5 years. In part 2 of this two part series, the author outlines how these findings will be used to inform the content and composition of the CCM certification examination.

To provide information on the results of Part II of the Commission for Case Management Certification (CCMC) role and function study, with a comparison of the 2014 study results with the current 2019 CCMC study results.
