Description

A counselor?s license is one?s livelihood, so protecting it is paramount. Each State Board of Professional Counselors serves to protect the public and promote the progress of the profession. However, when a complaint is made, counselors must be equipped with the resources to adequately defend themselves. Being unprepared may represent the difference between a counselor retaining or losing their license. This session will focus on the disciplinary process, the role of counseling boards and the duties, and responsibilities and rights of counselors in the process.
